TF65 are economical electromechanical motor protection devices for currents up to 67 A. In the event of overload, they provide reliable thermal protection for the connected motors. TF65 are typically mounted on contactors AF40 to AF65, but can also be installed separately on a DIN rail. When the motor current set on the current scale is exceeded, the relays trip via bimetallic elements, thereby changing the switching position of the two auxiliary contacts 1S/1Ö. A pre-connected contactor is then switched off. The relays allow for manual or automatic reset, and feature a test and stop function as well as a trip indicator. The current scale of the devices is sealable. Accessories such as reset buttons and delay timers complement the range. TF65 have a tripping class of 10, are temperature compensated, sensitive to phase failure, and have ATEX certification.
