Additional Details:
The TA200DU thermal overload relays provide reliable protection for connected motors with currents up to 200 A, in accordance with IEC/EN 60947-1, IEC/EN 60947-4-1, and IEC/EN 60947-5-1. TA200DU can be directly mounted on contactors AF190-AF205 but can also be mounted separately on a mounting plate. Thermal overload relays are three-pole and trip via bimetallic elements. The motor current flows through the bimetallic elements, heating them both directly and indirectly. In the event of an overload (overcurrent), the bimetallic elements deform due to heat generation. This causes the relay to trip, changing the switching positions of the contacts (95-96/97-98). A pre-connected contactor can thus be switched off. The relays allow for manual or automatic reset, feature test and stop functions, as well as a tripped indicator. An additional reset button allows operation without opening the control cabinet. TA200DU have a tripping class of 10A, are temperature compensated, and are sensitive to phase failure.
