The Adafruit MicroSD Breakout Board+ is a versatile electronics module designed for easy integration of microSD cards into various projects. It features a user-friendly interface that is compatible with both 3V and 5V systems, thanks to an integrated 5V-to-3V regulator that provides up to 150mA for power-hungry cards. The use of a true level-shifting chip instead of resistors ensures reliable data transmission and faster read and write operations. With the ability to utilize 2GB or more of storage space using just 3 or 4 digital pins, this module is ideal for applications requiring flexible and efficient data storage. An activity LED indicates the status of the SD card, while the push-push socket technology makes inserting and removing the card easy. The board comes unassembled with a 0.1 header, allowing for customization for various projects.
