Conventional hard disks are increasingly proving to be a bottleneck in modern systems. However, with the Solid State Drives (SSDs), the designated successor is already in the starting blocks and will become a serious competitor with falling memory prices.

Akasa now presents a particularly elegant and high-quality aluminium solution. This choice of material offers better heat transfer and lower weight in addition to the appearance. The mounting frame accommodates two 2.5 inch drives, but only needs a 3.5 inch slot itself.
