The flux residues are temperature stable down to -20 °C, meaning they do not become brittle and remain flexible. This alloy significantly increases the lifespan of the soldering tips. In internal Almit tests, lifetimes of approximately 30,000 solders at a soldering temperature of 350 °C were achieved.
