Engineered and heavily tested to the last detail, the Pulsar LS 550W power supply employs high-quality components and essential features like a Japanese main capacitor rated for 105°C, a Fluid Dynamic Bearing 120 mm fan with high-static pressure for excellent cooling, temperature-controlled fan speed for quiet operation, and Active Power Factor Correction which uses electronic circuits to efficiently distribute power to devices connected to the power supply.

A full array of protections is also embedded, shielding against multiple events: Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Over Current, Over Power, Over Temperature, and Short Circuit.

Aesthetics Matters

Fun Facts

From Earth, pulsars often look like flickering stars, but they aren't really stars, or at least they aren't “living” stars. They are very fast-spinning neutron stars that form when a star more massive than the sun runs out of fuel and collapses on itself. A pulsar can spin between 5,000 to 40,000 times per minute, and the magnetic field can be as strong as one cubic meter of it could contain more energy than has ever been generated by mankind.
