Even at low speeds, the operating noise of the new ARCTIC motor is barely perceptible. Due to the sinusoidal magnetisation, the new motor generates only around 5% of the vibrations that occur when commutating a normal DC motor without a filter. The PWM function enables the motherboard to run the fan precisely at the required speed. This ensures the required cooling and minimises the noise level.
