With its 12 sounds, 32-voice polyphony, and integrated chorus, equalizer, and reverb effect, a wide range of sound possibilities is available. For extended operation, a foot pedal is included to control the sustain. The 2x 15 watt speakers offer realistic and expressive sound projection. Instruments include grand piano, e-piano, bright piano, and other instruments such as strings, organ, brass, vibraphone, guitar, and choir. The layer mode allows for the superimposition of two sounds; for example, strings can be layered on a piano and played simultaneously. The USB connection makes the keyboard compatible with the latest software and music apps, as well as with all major DAWs. Through the USB interface, virtual instruments can be played with a smartphone or tablet using apps such as Garageband. MIDI signals are also output via USB, making the Performer perfect for home studio recording. An integrated metronome and 12 demo songs are available for practice support.
