The US221A is a peripheral switch with two USB 2.0 ports that provides two computers with shared, time-shifted access to a single USB peripheral, such as a printer, scanner, or mass storage device. It features easy port selection via pushbuttons, a configuration utility, or automatic port switching. Automatic switching means no print server is required. The device complies with USB 2.0 specifications and supports data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps. It is multiplatform compatible with both Windows and Macintosh. LED indicators show the currently selected port.
