The SMQ series are quad channel power amplifiers that set a new standard for affordable audio amplification in both fixed and mobile audio installations. Their advanced features and availability in different output powers of 350 Watt, 500 Watt, and 750 Watt provide enormous flexibility for numerous applications. The WaveDynamics™ DSP processor, combined with the 2.5” LCD display, offers an unmatched user experience with an intuitive functions overview for easy configuration.

Acoustics can be optimized using Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz-Riley filters with selectable rolloff, configurable as Low, High, or Band Pass, along with a 7-Band equalizer that has adjustable frequencies and Q-factor. Additional functions include delay and dynamic bass boost. These settings can be custom configured using the front panel of the amplifier, with access available on two different levels (User & Administrator) using password or USB-key protection.

Loudspeaker protection is ensured by an output power limiter, allowing configuration of the maximum output power for each channel. Configuration is simplified with loudspeaker presets and full system configurations that can be selected from a library and uploaded via a USB flash drive, ensuring optimal acoustical performance with robust loudspeaker protection.

The input selection matrix, along with XLR and terminal block signal connections, provides great input flexibility and source compatibility. Outputs are made using speaker and terminal block connections. System integration is facilitated through the RS-232 control port. An optional Dante™ interface is available for the WaveDynamics™ amplifiers, enabling the reception and transmission of low latency, high-quality audio over a standard Ethernet network.
