Compliant with EN 61558, ENEC 10, and recognized by UL. These transformers are designed for PCB mounting and are short-circuit proof, available in Series VB and PT. The primary voltage is 230V AC with a frequency range of 50 to 60Hz. They feature one or two secondary windings for series or parallel connection. For conformity reasons, transformers with 0.35 to 3.2 VA with 2 x 15V and 2 x 18V outputs, as well as all transformers with 2 x 24V outputs, should not have their secondary windings connected in series, as they would not meet VDE 0550 approval. Series VB (0.35–3.2 VA) is inherently short-circuit proof, while Series PT (4.5–22 VA) is protected by an internal PTC unit. The design is compact, with vacuum epoxy resin encapsulation according to UL94-V0 class. The two-part coil is made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide. Each unit undergoes 100% electrical and dielectric testing, ensuring high efficiency and low heating, with low capacitance between windings and minimal noise interference. Additional mounting points are provided for secure PCB mounting in models from 4.5 VA.
