Product details
With the 200 series, BOSS presents a new compact pedal generation that impresses with high-quality sound, exceptional versatility, and minimal space requirements on your pedalboard. Thanks to intuitive controls and multifunctional switches, operation is simple and intuitive. Additional convenience is provided by the internal memory slots, allowing you to immediately recall your own setups when needed. The high audio quality of the 200 series pedals is based on 32-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit internal signal processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate. Furthermore, you can optionally control the pedals via external switches, an expression pedal, or MIDI. The MD-200 Modulation utilizes algorithms from the flagship MD-500 and combines a wide range of outstanding effects in a compact and user-friendly pedal. With twelve modes available, you have access to a variety of modulation sounds—each with specially tailored controls that allow you to deeply modify the sound directly from the pedal surface. Thanks to the powerful insert function, you can easily integrate drive pedals and other effects into the signal chain, choosing to place them before or after the internal modulation. Compact and powerful, the MD-200 delivers essential modulation effects in an extremely compact pedal. It features modern and vintage chorus effects from BOSS, as well as phaser, flanger, rotary, vibrato, and tremolo. Additionally, the MD-200 includes classic 70s-style phasers with adjustable distortion for even more versatility. With the famous BOSS Slicer, you can create a variety of cool rhythms and grooves, while the overtone effect provides thick octave sounds and unique tonal colors. Moreover, a precisely adjustable auto-wah is available, which can also be used as a foot wah when an expression pedal is connected.
