The MD-500 effects pedal from Boss is an extremely versatile pedal featuring a wide range of modulation effects. It offers everything from classic sounds like chorus, flanger, phaser, vibe, vibrato, tremolo, dimension, ring mod, rotary, and slicer to the modern overtone effect. Additionally, it includes enhanced versions of popular Boss originals such as the Roland Dimension-D and the SL-20 Slicer.

Based on extremely fast DSP technology, all sounds have been further improved in terms of expressiveness, bandwidth, and transparency. There are also new parameters like Bell and Sweetness in the Prime-Chorus. With 32-bit / 96 kHz AD/DA conversion, the device delivers studio-quality sound and can be controlled via MIDI inputs and USB MIDI, allowing for integration with MIDI controllers and DAWs.

The LCD display makes operation straightforward, with direct access to the most important parameters via the surface controls. For expanded control options, optional footswitches or expression pedals can be connected.
