Under the hood, the MT-2 features an innovative analog circuit for powerful heavy sounds. It employs two gain stages in series: the first provides the necessary clarity in the mids and leads directly into the second, more aggressive stage. The carefully tuned pre- and post-distortion filters (a total of seven stages) ensure that the sound remains tight and well-defined at any setting, without becoming dull or muddy.
