The DD-3 Digital Delay has been a classic from Boss since 1986. The DD-3 combines original sound quality with modern functionality. It is now possible to set the delay tempo using the integrated pedal switch or an optional external footswitch via tap tempo, with the choice of three note subdivisions. The delay time ranges from 12.5 to 800 ms and can also be used as a short loop function for brief loop phrases. The DD-3T features a main output as well as a direct output, allowing for the separate amplification of dry and wet signals. When a cable is connected to the direct output, the main output only outputs the delay effect signal - the dry signal comes through the direct output. The operation is kept simple for quickly finding the desired delay. The mode knob allows selection between quarter triplets, dotted eighths, or quarters. The popular warm sound of the DD-3T is based on the same circuit design as the classic DD-3 and continues to impress with fascinating sound results.
