This book tells 10 stories about cycling trips in Germany and a few other countries. No reports, no route descriptions, no travel guides – yet it has a bit of everything. It is primarily the fellow travelers and other people who come to life with their quirks, habits, kindnesses, and peculiarities... and the author himself, who all too often struggles with himself, his quirks, habits, idiosyncrasies, and weaknesses. But always with his feet on the pedals and both legs on the ground. Or alternating. Or something like that. And also with a head full of ideas. Those who are "travel cyclists" themselves may sometimes recognize themselves. And those who are not yet may just become one. Or after reading these stories, perhaps definitely not.
