This lens has a variable focal length that can be infinitely adjusted by moving the lens element. It is therefore very versatile and suitable for a wide range of uses - especially when conditions do not allow for a quick lens change, you can adapt it to the situation in no time at all.
The integrated optical image stabiliser compensates for fine movements that occur when you take hand-held shots. The built-in sensors measure these movements and send a signal to shift one or more optical elements. This allows you to shoot sharp, unblurred images - especially when working in low light conditions and with longer exposure times.
