Product details

React instinctively to the moment and easily capture fast action: The Dual Pixel CMOS AF offers DSLR-like autofocus speed and tracking precision.

The Dual Pixel CMOS AF reads the information from the right and left photodiode of each pixel separately. This data is used for phase detection autofocus, enabling both fast and precise focusing at the highest image quality. Additionally, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF is seamlessly active over 80% of the height and width of the sensor, working together with the Digic 7 for top-notch subject tracking.

Burst shooting at up to 7 frames per second in RAW with continuous autofocus (Servo AF) captures every fast action. With constant focus, you can even achieve 9 frames per second.

Impress with stunning videos that have a cinematic look. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF provides precise subject tracking and, when combined with Touch AF and the STM focusing technology of a lens, allows for dramatic focus transitions.

Even when using a lens without optical image stabilization, you can create steady videos thanks to the in-camera 5-axis image stabilization. This improves even further when using an EF-M or EF lens that is compatible with Dynamic IS.

With the ability for full manual control over aperture, shutter speed, and audio in manual mode, you can explore your creativity. The camera features a port for an external microphone, giving you even more options for audio recording.

Connecting to a mobile device is easy with Wi-Fi, NFC, and Image Sync. This allows you to remotely control the camera and create backups in the cloud via Image Sync. Through Bluetooth, you maintain a constant connection between the camera and your mobile device, making it simple to activate the camera using the Camera Connect app on your mobile device.
