For maximum convenience, the LP-EL can be charged with our LC-E6 / LC-E6E charger, which is included with many EOS cameras. Thanks to electronic communication with the Speedlite, the charge level is displayed accurately. With a single charge of the EL-1, up to 2,345 flash shots can be expected, and this for about 300 charge/discharge cycles. The LP-EL battery has been specifically designed to meet the demands of flash photography. It offers a large capacity and provides the Speedlite EL-1 with the necessary power for quick recharge times and continuous shooting. The LP-EL also features an electronic circuit that allows for precise display of the remaining charge on the Speedlite EL-1, so you can replace or recharge the battery at the right time.
