Carlo Gavazzi Solid state relay
Product details
The zero-crossing switch with antiparallel connected thyristors as the switching element in the load circuit is the most commonly used semiconductor relay for industrial applications due to its nearly unlimited range of applications. It can be used to switch resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads. The zero-crossing switch turns on at the zero crossing of the sinusoidal voltage and turns off when the current passes through zero. The integrated varistor protects the semiconductor relay from voltage spikes from the grid. The LED indicator signals the status of the control input. The cover ensures protection against contact with the output terminals according to protection class IP 20. The cover can be removed with a screwdriver to, for example, mount ring terminals. All terminals in the control and load circuit are equipped with self-lifting terminal plates, allowing for touch-protected connection of cables up to 16 mm² on the load side.
