The Cool Master Elite 342 Mini Tower is specifically designed for the installation of Micro-ATX motherboards. On the front, alongside the power and reset buttons and two blue LEDs, there is a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port for fast and secure data transfer, a speaker, and an audio jack. The lower half features a mesh design, and a 120mm fan is integrated for optimal airflow. Additionally, two 90mm fans can be installed in the side panels for even more effective cooling performance. The removable hard drive cage increases the maximum length of expansion cards to 363mm. The height of the CPU cooler is limited to 153mm. There are two external 5.25-inch drive bays, suitable for DVD drives, and one 3.5-inch bay that can be used for a floppy disk drive. Internally, hard drives can be installed in the five 3.5-inch bays. To prevent unauthorized access, a security hole for a lock is incorporated into the side panel.
