Product details

How much truth can we bear? Bruno Daldossi is a war photographer. After many years of photographing in Chechnya, Iraq, Sudan, and Afghanistan, he now travels to crisis areas only sporadically in his early sixties. However, when his long-time partner Marlis, with whom he lived in Vienna, leaves him, the hardened man loses his footing. In his grief over the loss of love, he grapples with the question of how to live with the suffering of the world that he captures in his images. Daldossi befriends a journalist who is supposed to report from Lampedusa and follows her there. Additionally, he tries to win Marlis back and take responsibility for at least one person whose path he has crossed.
