This docking station from Delock can be connected to a MacBook with two adjacent Thunderbolt 3 ports, such as the MacBook Pro. Additionally, one of the two USB-C connectors can be inserted into the housing, allowing the docking station to be connected to other devices like smartphones, tablets, or laptops. A monitor can be operated at 4K 30 Hz via the HDMI output. An integrated USB Type-C port and two USB Type-A ports enable the use of peripheral devices.

One of the two USB-C ports is paired with the retractable USB-C connector. This means that when it is extended (when used with the MacBook), the full functionality of the USB-C interface is available at the USB-C port (pass-through). Data can be transferred at 10 Gbps at this port, the device can be charged (PD 3.0), or another monitor with a resolution of up to 4K 60 Hz can be connected. Additionally, like with MST, two extra monitors can be operated independently (extended display). If the docking station is used with only one USB Type-C connection, the USB-C (pass-through) port has no function.

Furthermore, the docking station with an integrated card reader expands mobile devices with an SD and a Micro SD slot via the USB Type-C connection. The docking station features a USB Type-C Power Delivery port, to which the power supply of the notebook or tablet can be connected for charging. The docking station can also be used without a power supply.

Due to its compact size and sturdy housing, this Delock docking station is particularly suitable for on-the-go use. It can be easily packed along with the notebook and used when needed.
