The DJI Ronin 4D 8K is a unique filming system that combines a camera, gimbal, and LiDAR focusing into a lightweight and flexible unit. This 4D X9-8K version includes the Zenmuse X9-8K camera, DJI DL 17-28mm T3.0 lens, LiDAR distance meter, low pass filter, and RAW license, which requires activation through DJI. Wireless video transmission is available separately. The X9-8K supports up to 8K60 17:9 video in Apple ProRes RAW format and 8K30 17:9 and 8K75 2.39:1 video in ProRes 422 HQ format, offering excellent image quality suitable for movie, advertisement, and television production.

The unique 4-axis stabilization system of the Ronin 4D ensures extremely smooth footage, even in challenging conditions. The Z-axis stabilization reduces vertical camera movement, which is particularly useful during dolly shots. The LiDAR focusing system guarantees fast and accurate focusing, even in low light. The Ronin 4D also features several other advanced capabilities, such as ActiveTrack Pro subject tracking and Automated Manual Focus, making shooting easy and intuitive.

The Zenmuse X9-8K camera offers 44.7 megapixels of resolution and a dynamic range of 14.7 stops, ensuring stunning image quality and detail capture. The camera has two native ISO values (800/5000) and supports EI values from 200 to 12800. The Ronin 4D also includes built-in ND filters, allowing you to easily adjust the exposure in varying lighting conditions.

Additional features include a 5.5-inch touchscreen for camera control and image review, integrated stereo microphones and 3.5mm audio input, TB50 batteries offering up to 2.5 hours of runtime, compatibility with DJI Master Wheels controllers and Pro Force system, and versatile accessories, including a wireless video transmitter and expansion plate with SDI, XLR, and timecode connections.
