• AC-3: Squirrel cage motors for starting and stopping during operation.
• AC-4: Squirrel cage motors for starting, regenerative braking, reversing, and creeping.

The connection technology includes screw terminals. It is also suitable for motors of efficiency class IE3, with IE3-capable devices marked with a logo on the packaging.
