The Electric GmbH contact extension ESR5-NE-51-24VAC-DC from Eaton is a non-delayed contact extension specifically designed to expand the contacts on safety logic modules. It enables single-channel operation and is equipped with a supply voltage of 24 VDC or 24 VAC at 50/60 Hz. This contact extension offers five release current paths that achieve stop category 0 according to IEC/EN 60204, along with two signaling current paths. The touch protection meets the requirements of EN 50274, ensuring safe operation for fingers and the back of the hand when operated vertically from the front. The contact extension is suitable for use in safety-critical applications and complies with the requirements for PL e, Category 4 according to EN ISO 13849-1, as well as SILCL3 according to IEC 62061 and SIL3 according to IEC 61508.
