The 4Q speed controller with current limitation is a versatile control device designed for the precise regulation of the speed of DC motors. It allows for the adjustment of the desired speed setpoint either via a potentiometer or through external voltages of 0 to 5 V/DC or 0 to 10 V/DC, with the selection made via a jumper. The armature voltage can also be set via a jumper to a maximum of 12 or 24 V/DC, enabling flexible adaptation to various applications. Another important feature is the adjustable current limitation, controlled by a potentiometer, to protect the motor from overload. The feedback of the armature voltage is achieved through an EMF with I x R compensation, which enhances the efficiency and stability of the system.
