The ESP LTD KH-V MGO is an electric guitar from the Kirk Hammett Signature series. Kirk Hammett is the lead guitarist of the metal band Metallica and has relied on ESP guitars for decades. This version features a Metallic Gold finish and gold hardware. The body is made of black Korina. The thin U-shaped maple neck makes it easier to play chords across the entire fingerboard. The fingerboard, made of Macassar ebony, has 24 extra-jumbo frets. The strings are D’Addario XL110, and the scale length is 648 mm (25.5 inches). The guitar is equipped with EMG Bone Breaker pickups, controlled by a classic layout featuring a 3-way switch, a volume knob, and a tone knob. A case for transporting the guitar is included.
