The latest modern decoder for digital terrestrial television DVB-T/T2 receives free-to-air high-definition digital terrestrial television in the MPEG-2, MPEG-4 H.264/AVC, and H.265/HEVC standards. It plays audio according to MPEG-1 (Layer 1, 2, 3) and AAC, E-AC3. The decoder features integrated personal video recording in digital quality with a timeshift function. All functions must be easily accessible in the menu and directly from the function pilot. The decoder has a USB port, allowing for the connection of an external storage device to record or play back files and photos. It includes a built-in HDMI socket, making it compatible with most TV receivers on the market.
