The EX-1198VS is a USB 3.0/3.1 (Gen1) hub that complies with the specifications of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Revision 3.1 (Gen1) and operates at a data transfer speed of up to 5 Gbps. It features a USB-C upstream port and 7 downstream ports, each with 15 kV ESD surge protection. Ports 1 and 4 are equipped with a new Type-C connector. This allows for the connection of up to seven external USB peripherals to a USB 3.0 port from the computer in a 19" rack. It can be used in automation and office applications, meeting the specific requirements of industrial applications.
