Mascis, the Godfather of alternative rock and frontman of Dinosaur Jr., with a brand new Jazzmaster model that honors its namesake with its powerful sound and strong performance. The J. Mascis Jazzmaster features a basswood body, a C-shaped maple neck with a 9.5" radius Indian laurel fingerboard and 21 jumbo frets, two Jazzmaster single-coils with a 3-way switch, and two tone controls. The aluminum pickguard is gold-anodized, and the plastic parts have an aged white look (knobs, switch tip, pickup cover). A vintage-style Adjusto-Matic bridge with floating tremolo, vintage tuners, chrome hardware, the vintage white finish, and J. Mascis's signature on the back of the large 60s-style headstock complete the refined design.
