The Hammond 1590 series is a robust housing made from aluminum die-cast alloy, suitable for electronic instruments while being easy to work with. It features an overlapping construction that provides IP54 protection against dust and splashes, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. The housing, also known as a stomp box, is available in rectangular, trapezoidal, or octagonal designs.
