Thin-walled die-cast housing, IP54. The Hammond 11451 series, also known as the Hammond Eddystone series, is made from untreated aluminum. Durable and impact-resistant, with an IP54 rating that guarantees resistance to splashing water from all directions.

Features and benefits:
Robust housing for electronic devices made from aluminum die-cast alloy (tough yet easy to machine). Aluminum alloy according to BS1490, LM2M – untreated. Construction with overlapping joints provides protection against dust and splashes, and also improves EMC performance. Covers are secured with countersunk screws M3.5 x 12 (POZIDRIV® No. 2 head). Countersunk holes in the cover. Complies with EN60950. Low angle of the side wall (max. 2°) for easy PCB mounting.
