The interior surfaces of the enclosure are smooth to facilitate the installation of connectors. Each enclosure features two molded-in PC board spacers and a construction with overlapping joints that provides protection against dust ingress and splashes according to IP54. The Hammond 1591 series is perfect for applications where repeated assembly and disassembly are required.
