Translucent red boxes are made from infra-red polycarbonate and designed for mounting circuit boards. The translucent flame-retardant polycarbonate meets UL94V-0 standards and is almost totally transparent to infra-red devices, making it ideal for applications where parts, sensors, or indicators need to be visible. Integral card guides accept 1.5 mm PCBs. The two-piece lap joint construction provides IP54 protection, and the lids are secured with M3 x 10 mm Philips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushes to assist with repeated removal of the lid. The external height includes an additional 4 mm for the lid.
