As Hasselblad's fastest lens, the XCD 1.9/80 features the largest aperture of all Hasselblad lenses at f/1.9. With unique twin AF motors and outstanding optical design, this lens offers an equivalent aperture of f/1.5 and a field of view that corresponds to 63 mm in full-frame 35 mm systems.

With a front diameter of 77 mm, it supports standard filters and threaded accessories. The XCD 1.9/80 has a minimum focusing distance of 70 cm (1:6.4 image scale) and an aperture range of 1.9-32. It is particularly suitable for portrait, nature, and product photography, with the ability to create pleasing bokeh through excellent subject isolation at shallow depth of field.

Like the other XCD lenses, the XCD 1.9/80 features a built-in central shutter that offers exposure times from 60 minutes to 1/2000 seconds with full flash synchronization.
