Over twenty years ago, I had a near-fatal traffic accident. During this incident, doors were blown open inward, granting me access to levels of the soul of which I had previously been unaware. Almost simultaneously, I began to experience an unbearable series of injuries in both of my knees. After three surgeries, I was left with chronic pain, and some of the best sports medicine specialists in Munich told me that there was nothing more they could do for my incurable arthritis. Their skills in purely physical matters completely failed. In my desperate search for healing, I came into contact with various alternative healing methods that I had previously dismissed as nonsense and charlatanism. However, it took almost 15 years before I experienced healing and was able to recognize a systematic order of wholeness and unity in the healing medicine wheel, where both physical and emotional healing found their place.
