Since 1982, Hipshot has been allowing bassists to explore new depths with the Bass Xtender. This individual tuning machine is simply installed in place of the original E tuner. With the integrated lever, the pitch of the string can be dropped and then returned to its original tuning. The GB-7 Xtender serves as a direct replacement for Gotoh GB7 tuners and fits many Ibanez, Yamaha, Epiphone, and numerous other brands. The GB-7 Xtender enables popular drop tunings from E to D or E to B. It features a 20:1 gear ratio, a shaft diameter of 11 mm, includes mounting hardware, is left-handed, and comes in chrome color.
