Product details
Educators and psychologists are sounding the alarm: The concentration and performance of elementary school children in Germany have been declining for years. The number of cases of children with behavioral issues, including nervous or motor disorders, is continuously increasing, as is the propensity for violence among children. The discussion about possible causes of this phenomenon is as current as it is long-lasting and is still ongoing. Certainly, sensory overload, issues related to social change, and the integration of students with a migration background play a role. However, a clear conclusion on how to best counteract this problematic development has not yet been reached. While Bettina Arndt cannot present a one-size-fits-all solution, she has made some encouraging observations as a dedicated and empathetic educator.
