The successful author Andrea meets the twenty years younger Melanie at a reading. It's love at first sight. After the start of a beautiful romance, her ex shows up and begins to stalk Andrea. She emotionally pressures Andrea about the age difference with Melanie. And Andrea starts to genuinely question whether what she is doing is right. Additionally, after a major disappointment, she fears a committed relationship. She tries to explain this to Melanie and asks for a break. But love seems to complicate things for her. Under pressure from the publisher to submit her new book project soon, she abruptly flees to Spain to a small finca that she bought years ago with her former partner. Andrea wants to find peace there, finish the book, and come to terms with her feelings.
