Product details

This adapter serves as a port doubler for a structured twisted pair cabling. Since with a 10/100Mbit LAN connection and with an ISDN line only two wire pairs are used in each case, but an RJ45 port in the socket is usually occupied with all 4 wire pairs, the so-called "cable sharing" can be used with this adapter. This allows 2 network cables to be combined into one. With another adapter, the signals are distributed to two ports at the other end of the double-used cable.
