The DVI KVM Extender with audio extends the distance of your DVI display up to 50 meters from your DVI source using Cat 5e cables. The Cat 5e cables provide a simple, reliable connection that utilizes the wiring system common in most modern office buildings. The state-of-the-art technology of the 61640 allows for the transmission of A/V signals over two Cat 5e cables. If you require true EDID, it can also be easily transmitted over the Cat 5e cables.
