The Joby Pin Joint Mount is an adapter with a small footprint that allows cameras with a 3-pin mount to be attached to a tripod with a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting screw. The adapter is made of ABS plastic, making it durable without becoming brittle. It features a stainless steel insert with a 1/4"-20 thread and a cap nut that accommodates the 3-pronged threaded rod.
