The MS090B microphone shock mount from Keepdrum provides optimal decoupling of your microphone thanks to its elastic holder. The free-swinging suspension decouples the microphone from the stand, preventing any disturbing vibrations from being transmitted to the microphone. This helps avoid unwanted noises such as footfall noise or low-frequency ambient sounds in recordings.
The shock mount is made of metal, with the free-swinging microphone basket secured by elastic bands. The package includes 4 interchangeable threads as well as a replacement rubber. This makes it compatible with various brand microphones, such as models from Rode, Samson, Audio-Technica, and many others.
To insert a microphone into the shock mount, the microphone is placed from above into the basket, and the appropriate thread is screwed onto the microphone from below. The felt ring on the shock mount protects your microphone from scratches or dents. The microphone shock mount features a 5/8 inch thread for mounting on a stand and can be swiveled 180 degrees. A reducing thread from 5/8 to 3/8 inch is included.
Included threads: 1x short screw M20 thread, 1x short screw M22 thread, 1x long screw M22 thread, 1x long screw M25 thread. All thread screws have a thread pitch of 1 mm.
