The QD series of quick disconnects from Koolance allows for a very simple and practical way to interrupt the coolant circuit by simply pressing down a metal ring. This is especially necessary in situations where hoses or water cooling components connected to them need to be frequently disconnected from the rest of the water cooling system.

For example, consider an external radiator that you want to quickly and safely detach from the PC during transport to carry it separately. Or a water cooling component that you change frequently, whether out of experimentation (CPU or chipset coolers) or due to regular upgrades (VGA coolers).

Two QD3 quick disconnects made of nickel-plated brass are connected or separated (one male, one female), with Koolance developing valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are designed to ensure a certain level of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.

This quick disconnect features a straight male design with a hose connection via a compression fitting, with an inner diameter of 10 mm and an outer diameter of 13 mm.
