Two QD3 quick disconnects made of black-painted brass are connected or separated (one male, one female), with Koolance having developed valves that, as the name No-Spill suggests, are designed to ensure a certain degree of leak resistance. However, it should be noted that a hundred percent immediate sealing is not possible, and up to 0.2 ml of liquid may escape.

This quick disconnect in the new revision features a straight black male version with a hose connection via a compression fitting, where the inner diameter must be 10 mm and the outer diameter must be 16 mm.
