With its XMT sound engine, full-sized 37-key keyboard, dynamic vocoder, and other user-friendly features, the KingKORG NEO is more than just a synthesizer; it is a versatile tool for artists aiming to reach new soundscapes and push the boundaries of musical creativity.
The virtual analog XMT sound engine opens the door to a vast array of sounds in a simply manageable package. The KingKORG NEO is equipped with a wide range of oscillator algorithms, from classic saw and square waves to more complex waveform types typical of analog synthesizers and PCM/DWGS-based sounds. Similarly, the synthesizer's filter selection is a treasure trove for designers of diverse sounds: it includes filters from iconic 70s monophonic synthesizers for punchy lead and bass sounds, as well as filters from 80s polyphonic synthesizers, not forgetting the legendary Korg MS-20 synthesizer filters.
A wide selection of 200 presets is designed with the modern music creator in mind, and for sound processing, the instrument features three master effect slots, each with six different effect types. Additionally, the front panel of KingKORG NEO includes a balanced XLR input, and a high-quality microphone is included with the synthesizer. The instrument's vocoder is 16-band and competes excellently with classic vocoder sounds.
