The second-generation Volca FM is a 6-voice polyphonic FM synthesizer with 6 operators and 32 algorithms, capable of effortlessly reproducing the classic FM sounds of the 80s and 90s. Through its intuitive interface, which consolidates the key sound-shaping parameters into a few macro controls, the sounds of the Volca FM can be manipulated without deep knowledge of FM synthesis. Of course, there is also the option to dive deep into sound creation to edit the individual operators in detail. To enhance the sounds, both a chorus and a reverb effect are available, which can even be used simultaneously and controlled separately if desired.
