Product details

The K2700 offers an extensive sound library with over 1500 factory programs and more than 700 multi-combinations, categorized into 13 instrument categories ranging from pianos and synthesizers to orchestral sounds and much more. This includes optimized German D-pianos, Japanese C7 and Triple Strike pianos, classic Tine EPs, as well as updated sounds from the popular SP6, PC3/4, and KORE64 expansions.

Load up to 3.5 GB of your own samples into the non-volatile flash memory. Supported sample formats include WAV, AIF (up to 16 Bit / 96kHz), and Kurzweil formats. V.A.S.T. was born with the K2 series. The K2700 builds on Kurzweil's legendary Variable Architecture Synthesis Technology, offering 32 layers per program, highly customizable signal paths, and a variety of modular DSP tools, including new oscillators, filters, and effects.

Inspired by classic organs, all tonewheel controls are immediately accessible, including 9 realistic drawbars, rotary speed, chorus/vibrato, brake, percussion, and more.

Every sound of the K2700 is perfectly matched to its 88-key fully weighted keyboard with aftertouch. You can adjust the MIDI velocity response and pressure behavior to suit your personal playing style. Kurzweil's famous Multi Mode offers 16 zones with unparalleled MIDI controller capabilities, with each zone supporting over 60 separate physical controllers. The K2700 features an internal 16-track sequencer that allows you to record, edit, mix, and produce your own tracks—all in the box. Import MIDI files as well as songs from the Kurzweil PC3/PC4/Forte family.
