The Mini DisplayPort interface is a miniaturized version of the common digital DisplayPort screen interface. The Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter offers the best compatibility, as it allows seamless interoperability with existing analog projectors and displays. The adapter is compatible with the DisplayPort standard and is also backward compatible with Thunderbolt. It enables connection to an extended screen or working in mirror mode with VGA projectors, typically supporting VGA resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and reduced latency, so the audience sees the same visual information as you. The adapter is color-coordinated to maintain consistency with the powerful ThinkPads.
